I Never Felt More Alone Than When I Was In SpaceI never felt more alone than when I was in the vacuum of space. Which I guess goes without saying. Space is called that for a reason, after all. As my breath fogged up the bay window I was stargazing out of, I pondered why I had agreed to a 7 year one-man mission to the nearest star Sirius. In some ancient Earthine cultures, solitary confinement was considered a punishment, one that even the most hardened of terrestrial criminals couldnt withstand without cracking.
